The Office of State Budget and Management (OSBM) officially certified NC State’s FY 2026-27 General Fund Budget on September 8, authorizing just over $91 million in additional state funding for the current fiscal year. With certification complete, the University of North Carolina (UNC) System Office finalized allocations to NC State and transferred the appropriated funds to the university, completing a key milestone in our annual budget execution process.

Budget Planning System Update
As announced last month, Ascend Partners has completed the OneStream Phase 1 Enhancement Roadmap. The roadmap outlines key system updates for the upcoming Budget Planning Cycle launching in November, alongside long-term enhancements planned for future phases. University partners will play a vital role in designing, configuring and testing these improvements. Stay tuned for further details and opportunities to get involved.
