Meet the Cashier’s Office & Student Accounts Team

The Cashier’s Office & Student Accounts team processes departmental deposits and services the accounts of our over 38,000 students. We also manage and process the Faculty/Staff Tuition Waiver benefit for employees.

All staff are responsible for answering student questions, which can vary tremendously! We have different sections of our department:

CashiersAlthough we are moving towards becoming a cashless campus, our three cashiers process all department accounts receivable deposits for campus, along with checks that are mailed in to pay student accounts. 
Student Loans/Collections The collections team is responsible for collecting our Perkins and institutional loans, as well as past due student accounts.
Third Party Billing This team of two is tasked with billing and collecting from a variety of governmental and business entities that pay tuition for students.  The governmental agencies consist primarily of recipients of the GI Bill, ROTC scholarships and other federal agencies, while the non-governmental entities comprise of foreign sponsors, private US companies and 529 account managers.
Student Financial Service Representatives This team deals with complex student account issues and processes student refunds.
Financial and Technical StaffThis team is tasked with managing the monthly payment plan, foreign wire transfers, graduate school payments, the website and various applications in the Student Information System of MyPack Portal.

Our office is one of the two offices (the other being the Registrar’s Office) that touches every student at the university. Although the student body has grown through the years, our staff has remained the same through hard work, dedication and innovation.
