New Internal Controls for Financial Data Training

We are excited to announce the launch of the new Internal Controls for Financial Data online course, now available for registration. Effective internal controls are crucial for management to make accurate financial reporting decisions and prevent errors, fraud and theft that could lead to significant losses.

This course is specifically tailored for staff involved in financial accounting processes and is one of three courses included in the Finance Professional I certification program. The other two courses are Accounting 101 and Journal Entry 101 (coming soon).

Course Topics

The Internal Controls for Financial Data course focuses on introducing internal controls in the context of financial data and explores the fundamental concepts and principles of internal controls and their importance for safeguarding assets, ensuring compliance and enhancing operational efficiency. The course also includes two online modules with the topics as listed below:
