In December 2023, PaymentWorks hosted an event to honor vendor management professionals and the value they bring to this important area of work. During the event, Megan Catt and Sharon Loosman were inducted into the inaugural PaymentWorks Hall of Fame. They were selected due to their contributions to the PaymentWorks User Community and to recognize their commitment to vendor data security.
Since going live with PaymentWorks in September 2021, the NC State SIM Team has connected over 17,000 vendors, grown the Virtual Card program by more than 50% and reduced the university’s fraud risk. Megan has also served on the leadership team for the PaymentWorks Higher Education User Group for the past two years. In this role, she guides peers from other colleges and universities through their implementation process, provides helpful insight based on her own experiences and meets with the PaymentWorks Product Team to guide enhancement priorities. This user group has created an invaluable network that Megan is proud to be a part of.
