Despite current cold temperatures, it is once again time to think about summer….salary, that is.
The Office of Contracts and Grants, in partnership with the Office of Research and Innovation and University Human Resources, has once again launched the required Summer Salary Training for initiators, approvers and recipients of summer salary on contracts or grants. Please note that in this context, summer salary applies only to 9-month faculty.
For anyone who initiates or approves payroll actions for their units, the course should appear in their list of required training courses in REPORTER. This is also the case for any recipients who received summer salary in 2022.
Completion of Summer Salary Training is a requirement before initiators and approvers can perform either task as well as before recipients can have their summer salaries entered in the system.
