NC State Employee Dependent Tuition Scholarship
The NC State Employee Dependent Tuition Scholarship is available for eligible students! Encourage your students to apply through Pack Assist if they meet the criteria:
- Must be a dependent of a full-time, NC State employee for at least 3 years as of July 1
- Be a full-time undergraduate student pursuing their first degree
- Maintain a 2.0 GPA with satisfactory academic performance.
Students must reapply by May 1 each year to be considered for this award.

Fiscal Year End Reminders
As we approach the fiscal year-end, please review the FY 2025 closeout schedule to ensure timely processing of transactions. April deadlines include requisitions (non-MarketPlace requisitions) which must be entered and approved at all levels to accommodate receipt and payment of FY 2025 purchases by April 10, 2025.

Check Your Procurement Encumbrances
With the end of the fiscal year fast approaching, use our convenient encumbrance reporting to monitor the status of outstanding encumbrances. The report can be found in MyPack Portal > Financial System Homepage > Queries and Reports.
Summer Salary Rules/Training
Summer salary refers to any earnings paid through NC State University for work performed by 9-month faculty during the period between May 16 through August 15, including Maymester instruction. All 9-month faculty who will receive summer salary must complete the online Summer Salary Training course in REPORTER prior to receiving any summer salary payments.
All administrators who process summer salary or do any summer salary data entry must complete the online Summer Salary Training course in REPORTER prior to entering or processing any data for summer salary payments.
