University Controller’s Office Updates
- Congratulations to Regina House for her promotion to payroll director.
- Congratulations to Kim Kelley on her retirement at the end of 2024!
- The new Internal Controls for Financial Data training is open for registration. Internal Controls training is essential for anyone handling financial data at the university. It helps ensure accuracy, compliance, and accountability, reducing the risk of errors and fraud. Understanding these controls also empowers employees to make informed decisions and protect the university’s resources. Plus, it fosters a culture of integrity and transparency within the institution.
- The University Controller’s Office also provided an overview of wire and check suspense, the accounts receivable process, creating new customer requests, and making modifications.
- In addition, the Controller’s Office is in the process of updating the Accounts Receivable Manual with revised instructions and screenshots. The updated manual is coming soon!
- The University Controller’s Office provided updates in the My Vouchers email notification and updating forms for electronic signature compliance.
Procurement & Business Services
Procurement & Business Services highlighted staff changes, annual procurement meetings, the updated Procurement Dashboard, the 13th Annual MarketPlace Expo, upcoming surplus sales events, contacting the Materials Support Warehouse to pick up surplus items and information on internal sales: what is available and when to shop.
Enterprise Application Services
Enterprise Application Services (EAS) provided a walkthrough of the updated saved search option in MyPack Portal.
