Whether you are onboarding a new team member or changing internal departmental responsibilities, understanding system access is critical. This matrix acts as a central navigational guide, connecting specific university job functions directly to their required security access roles within our Financial System.

What’s New?

We listened to your feedback! While the original matrix provided foundational mapping, this version has been enhanced to offer a comprehensive snapshot of references for financial system roles, access requirements, and essential training pathways to ensure operational readiness and compliance. It also offers direct visibility into which training modules must be completed before requesting specific security roles, preventing onboarding delays.

The matrix is live, ready for use, and accessible through the same link as before: https://go.ncsu.edu/campus_finroles. It can also be located on the Finance Division Learning Resources page.
